Susanna Hartawan is the Founder and Managing Director of NBO Indonesia, where she has spent more than two decades helping organizations unlock potential, strengthen leadership, and accelerate sustainable growth. Under her leadership, NBO has grown into one of Indonesia’s trusted learning, assessment, and consulting partners, serving organizations across industries while building strategic collaborations with leading global organizations, including LinkedIn Learning and Thomas International.

Beyond NBO, Susanna also serves as the Managing Director of Thomas International Indonesia and the CEO of Jalan Maju Academy, a social enterprise dedicated to equipping young people with the character, mindset, and capabilities to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through partnerships with Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Singapore and Columbia Business School’s Global Entrepreneurship Program, she continues to expand opportunities for lifelong learning and leadership development.

Before founding NBO Indonesia, Susanna built an accomplished corporate career with Compaq, where she served as Director of Quality and Customer Satisfaction in Indonesia before taking on the regional role of Director of Quality and Customer Advocacy for Southeast Asia, overseeing Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Her expertise in business excellence is supported by certifications as a Black Belt in Quality from Compaq Houston, USA, and as a Malcolm Baldrige Business Excellence Assessor.

Recognized for her entrepreneurial leadership, Susanna has received numerous accolades, including Most Promising Entrepreneur Asia Pacific, Anugerah Perempuan Indonesia, and recognition as an Ernst & Young Women Entrepreneur Finalist. Guided by a deep belief that lasting transformation begins with people, she continues to inspire organizations and individuals to maximize their potential and accelerate their growth.
